01. Yacht Styling
The desire to build a yacht is always coupled with the client's vision of the project. I listen to and discuss that vision. We then set goals for the project, set priorities, and start to develop ideas. The process begins with a series of concept sketches, working with the client to develop the yacht’s character.
While exploring exterior styling and interior arrangement simultaneously, we refine ideas progressively — narrowing from broad concepts to a single, cohesive design direction. At every stage, mechanical detail, function, and spatial flow are carefully considered, establishing the yacht's overall character and organization from the outset.
02. Design Engineering
A well-defined design brief is the foundation of every successful yacht, shaping both performance and functionality from the very start. It is essential that exterior and interior design development proceed hand-in-hand with hull development — ensuring the owner's vision is fully realized, and nothing is left to assumption. The design brief shapes the hull parameters in terms of displacement, speed & powering, and range.
Detailed three-dimensional models and sketches bring the design to life, inviting clients to engage directly in shaping the distinctive style, character, and finer details of their vessel.
03. Interior Design
Using the client's vision, I develop studies and refine solutions for yacht interiors. My eye for the finer details, with an affinity for solving problems, allows me to investigate options that will bring originality to the project and to produce signature details.
Thoughtfully developed interior layouts and arrangement plans prioritize ergonomics, ensuring natural flow, efficient use of space, and a genuine sense of comfort and ease while underway.
04. Refit & Conversion
Siewert Design can guide owners and captains through the entire refit process, providing innovative concepts for interior and exterior living spaces, creating construction drawings and bid packages, and supervising construction, assuring quality workmanship, timely project delivery, and exceptional results.
05. Creative Consultation
Working closely with project leads, engineers, and vendors throughout every stage of the build, we ensure each client's vision is translated seamlessly and efficiently into a finished reality.
