Description
The 34-foot length is a sweet spot, which offers comfortable accommodations within a volume that is easy to power, yet still able to be stored or moved on a trailer. Twin or single outboards and a 10’ beam, coupled with modest weight and height, make the Tombolo easy to dry store, and with simple permits, the opportunity to trailer to distant cruising grounds.
A spacious master cabin with queen-sized berth is forward with a head to starboard and storage lockers to port. Going up a few steps to the pilothouse and living area, large windows all around light a full galley to one side and convertible U-shaped settee with a hi-lo table on the other. The single level living area is open through sliding doors to the large aft deck and lounge creating a sociable indoor/outdoor space.
The qualities that the Tombolo 34 offers as a perfect coastal cruiser are also superb for a sturdy fishing platform, island commuter, or yacht tender. Thanks to the advanced composite construction, depending on your power options, the T34 cruises quietly in the low to mid 20 knots, while burning only 10-12 gallons per hour.
When you return to the dock- tilt and flush the motors out, a quick wash down, and either haul out and dry store, or lock up and head home. The Tombolo 34’s designed to be easy to care for so you can spend more time boating than preparing to go boating.
