Long Range Efficiency In A Short Range Cruiser
Sea Magazine
Description
This design offers a new look at how motor cruisers are used today, and a sensible alternative to contemporary production boats. In an age of higher fuel costs and the increasingly practical benefits of lower speed yachts, efforts were taken to maximize the all aspects of the boat’s performance.
The Atlantic 41 uses an efficient single engine diesel with a modern semi-displacement underbody. Weight is kept low through engineered structures and lightweight materials. The benefits of weight savings bring increased range, payload, and stability.

The 41 offers a large stern cockpit, and modern crafted interior that still honors the distinctive Atlantic modern classic lines. Power options include a 370 hp Volvo Penta D6, which powers the 41 to 19 knots.
The Atlantic 41’s fuel economy is sure to be a hit with its long-range cruising speed of 8 knots allows for more than 1,000 nm of range. At 16 knots, the range is about 350 nautical miles, perfect for a day tour with friends or family.
Adding to the vessel’s fuel sipping capability it its construction, solidly built but with weight saving concerns. The hull is cored to the main stringers with solid laminate below to the keel.
Its standard double cabin layout is suited for short to medium-range cruises and sleeps six. A single cabin version is available.
